FIELD: construction of oil and gas wells, particularly, downhole motors imparting rotation to drilling bits in well drilling. SUBSTANCE: secured immovably in body of turbodrill spindle with the help of nipple and connecting sub are stator sleeve of radial bearings, stator races of one- and multirow axial ball thrust bearing, stator disc-step bearings. Fixed to spindle shaft with the help of nut-coupling half are rotor races of radial bearings, rotor races of one or multirow ball axial thrust bearing rotor discs. Turbodrill spindle is made so that during its assembly guaranteed axial clearance between balls of rolling thrust bearing and stator races of ball rolling thrust bearing amounts to 0.2-2 mm, and in the course of operation with end surfaces of rotor discs and stator discs-step bearings joined, balls of thrust bearing may contact only rotor races of ball rolling thrust bearing. In this case, guaranteed axial clearance between balls of rolling thrust bearing and stator races of rolling thrust bearing amounts up to 0.2-2 mm.
