FIELD: heating systems; automatic energy conservation heating systems for single-pipe schemes. SUBSTANCE: heating temperature limiter has delivery and drain tee pieces whose taps are joined by curvilinear by-pass and thermostatic valve separately installed on direct passage of delivery tee piece. Limiter has similar flow sections of direct passages of tee pieces, by-pass, and nozzle mounted for varying amount of heat conveyed into apparatus and reduced pressure value at joint between tap and direct passage of drain tee piece. Nozzle setting depends on location of heating assembly in single-pipe scheme of building. Proposed method provides for saving heat energy delivered directly to house, reducing pressure drop in system and power requirement of heating system pump. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of heating apparatuses and thermostatic valves; facilitated designing and operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
