FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves deepithelializing internal periodontal pocket wall with defocused laser radiation beam having power of 1-2 W. Gingivectomy is applied in medium severity degree cases using 5-6 W power laser radiation beam and closed curettage and internal periodontal pocket wall deepithelialization with 1-2 W power. Gingivectomy, internal and external periodontal pocket wall deepithelialization, closed curettage and then, internal and external flap portion deepithelialization is applied in heavy cases using 5-6 W power laser radiation beam and with 1-2 W power. Inflammation process is eliminated before making deepithelialization by introducing immune correction agents, mainly viferon, into gingival surface. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 4 cl
