FIELD: treatment of sewage and process liquids containing ferromagnetic admixtures; metallurgy; chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: magnetic separator includes reservoir for liquid to be cleaned from ferromagnetic particles, magnetic drums located in reservoir, scrapers for cleaning the drums and drive for revolving of drums. Magnetic drums are mounted at both ends of bell-crank. Drum axes are parallel; drums may revolve towards each other due to drive, chain or belt transmission, as well as swing around central hinge of bell-crank by means of additional drive till alternate contact with scraper arranged between drums. EFFECT: avoidance of silting of drain lines due to enhanced efficiency of cleaning them from coarse dispersed ferromagnetic admixtures. 3 dwg
