FIELD: materials handling facilities; glass article grips. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass production equipment, namely to device for transfer of glass articles from one moving conveyor to the other, for instance, transfer of bottles from forming furnace to burning kiln. Proposed grip unit has tie-rod installed for movement along and square to longitudinal axis under action of drive and provided with pushing members. Each pushing member is made in form of cradle formed by parallel rollers installed for rolling over glass article surface. Each roller is mounted on movable kinematic link included into cylindrical kinematic pair and installed for turning in plane square to longitudinal axis of tie-rod.
