FIELD: electrical illumination facilities. SUBSTANCE: device contains heating source made in the form of a tunnel kiln with rolls and holder-adapter for formation of helical balloon axially movably placed on the kiln bottom pan. Rolls have spiral groove. Wounding mechanism is made in the form of gear unit, gear wheels of which are placed on axles of rolls and holder-adapter. Mechanism for centering ends of pipe blank is a hinge parallelogram having sockets on its cranks to receive glass pipe ends, mounted for moving in a cut made in the kiln bottom plate. Wounding mechanism drive is a rack-and-pinion mechanism attached to foundation of device and having its gear wheel axle rigidly fastened to holder-adapter axle. Glass pipe is pressed to holder- adapter with an appliance whose final control element is sockets for centering mechanism. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 7 dwg
