TERRACING PLOW Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: terracing plow has frame, plow bodies and hydraulic cylinder. Frame has movable and immovable sections connected through central biaxial pin. Plow bodies and gear are fixed to movable section. Arced guide is fixed to frame and is equipped with toothed rack composed of two parts cooperating with gear and supporting members contacting with its upper and lower surfaces. Upper supporting member is made in the form of roll and lower supporting member is formed as block of rolls with hub put onto movable section frame shaft. Slots are formed in arced guide in the vicinity of toothed rack. Outer roll of roll block enters slots in arced guide, when gear comes into cooperation with toothed rack. Terracing plow of such construction may be used for flat plowing on plains and slopes. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 dwg
