BEEKEEPER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: clothing for protecting beekeeper's head, body, legs (but feet), arms (but hands) has trousers and vest with collar, which are provided with aeration inserts, and headwear composed of face net and cap. Clothing has system of flexible ribs arranged on inner surface and forming gap of predetermined dimension and stable air channels between clothing inner surface and beekeeper's skin. Vent channel extending along shoulder seam is adapted for exit of air under clothing into environment through face net and apertures. Clothing has flaps for opening and closing of aeration inserts in the area of aperture, elbow and wrist joints, girdle, knee joint and shin lower part. Clothing of such construction provides protection of upper and lower beekeeper's body parts from bee bites, as well as ventilation of space under clothing.
