FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing biological object to the action of directed flow of heat carrier, with saturated water steam or steam of aqueous solution containing ecologically clean substance being used as heat carrier. Extent of exposure is determined by amount of steam concentrated on biological object. Saturated steam flow having temperature of 80-135 C and moisture content of 0.01-0.99% is supplied to biological object under pressure of (1.01-5.2) x 10 Pa at flow speed of 0.1-10 m/s. Steam generator has hermetically and thermally sealed evaporating casing, heating member, heat carrier accumulating tank, flexible steam pipeline with manipulator and working head. Heat carrier accumulating tank is located inside evaporative casing and is equipped with injector nozzle for dosed supplying of heat carrier from accumulating tank into evaporative casing having effective heat emitting surface. Steam supplying manipulator and flexible pipeline are made thermally insulated. Regulating valve for supplying saturated steam is additionally arranged between manipulator and working head. Working head is made replaceable. Method and apparatus may be used for curing individual, animal or plant or alternatively for killing parasites. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method and construction. 3 cl, 1 dwg
