FIELD: rolled stock production, namely, lubricating and cooling rolls at making bent shapes, straight-seam electrically welded tubes and cold rolled sheets. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying to rolls emulsion in the form of mixture of self-emulsifying oil containing mineral oil, triethanolamine and oleic acid with water; accumulating waste emulsion and returning it to rolls; sustaining concentration of self-emulsifying oil equal to 3-7 mas.%; using self-emulsifying oil containing in addition emultal, ethanolamides, TP, antifrothing agent, aguidol-1 and bactericide preparation stabilized by means of copper sulfate at the following ratio of ingredients, mas.%: oleic acid, 22-25; triethanolamine, 12-16; emultal, 9-13; ethanolamides TP, 8-12; antifrothing agent, 0.2-0.4; aguidol-1, 0.0-0.3; bactericide preparation, 0.0-2.0, mineral oil, the balance.
