FIELD: guided artillery projectiles. SUBSTANCE: homing head gyroscopic position indicator has a body, rotor positioned on the internal gimbal, gimbal base installed in the body, spring engine positioned in the body with a detachable joint to the rotor, pyrotechnical member. The rotor is installed for engagement with the body bearing surface by the rear end surface. The base is installed in the body for longitudinal movement and turning by an additionally introduced flexible compression-torsion member. Fastened on the rear end of the base is a bush with a boss and a groove engageable with which is the stage of the larger diameter of the double-stage cylindrical spring-loaded catch installed in parallel with the longitudinal axis in the flange secured on the rear wall of the body. Installed in the flange is the pyrotechnical member engageable with the stage of the smaller diameter of the catch, and the bounding surface engageable with the bush boss is made. The rear end surface of the rotor has a groove, which receives a stop installed on the body bearing surface. The value of overlap in the axial direction of the catch larger diameter with the groove of the bush is less than the working stroke of the pyrotechnical member, the value of longitudinal movement of the base exceeds the depth of entering of the stop in the rotor groove, and the direction of movement of the catch under the action of the force of the pyrotechnical member coincides with the direction of acceleration at a shot. EFFECT: enhanced impact strength of the homing head gyroscopic position indicator of the artillery projectile due to off-loading of the gimbal supports and frames from the rotor inertia load at a shot. 2 dwg
