FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves fixing and reducing fractured bone fragments by means of compression-distraction apparatus. First, controlled reduction of the central bone fragment is carried out to restore its shape. The fractured base bone fragments are separated. The central bone fragment is introduced into the created diastasis. The compression-distraction apparatus is taken off in particular cases when achieving fracture consolidation signs. First, wires brought through the central fractured bone fragment are removed. Then, wires brought through the base fractured bone fragment are removed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of closed reposition in the cases of large scale displacements; prevented development of nonconsolidating fractures; accelerated treatment course. 2 cl, 4 dwg
