FIELD: production of absorbing articles. SUBSTANCE: wrapping material has multiplicity of pores with average size of about 30 micron and pores of size exceeding 50 micron and making less than 5% of total amount of pores. Ratio of tensile strength in wet and dry state in the process of stretching in longitudinal or transverse direction at maximum loading is at least 0.5, air-permeability is at least 6.56 cu. cm/sq. cm/min. Absorbing article manufacture method involves forming fibrous nonwoven core wrap material by extruding molten thermoplastic polymer into multiplicity of melt flows; thinning melt flows and settling onto forming surface. Article has pores of optimum size allowing particles of ground absorbent to be held and liquid permeability to be maintained. Such materials may be used for manufacture of diapers, shorts, pieces of underwear used in case of enuresis, hygienic layers, dressing etc. EFFECT: wider range of usages and improved quality of materials. 16 cl, 9 dwg, 9 ex
