FIELD: layered materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stretched thinned gas-permeable films coated with drawing or grid of adhesive substance to increase wear- resistance and strength of the film. Such material can be applied in a large variety of areas where strength, comfort, liquid impermeability and gas permeability including all absorbing personal hygiene items, dress parts, coiled articles, and patient-care items are necessary and desirable. Material consists of the first fibrous nonwoven layer and film layer. The latter is oriented in stretching direction and has effective thickness 0.6 mm or less and is made from mixture of about 30 to 70% first polyolefin, about 70 to 30% filler and about 0 to 20% second polyolefin (all % based on the total film weight). Film layer allows pass at least about 300 g/sq.m of water vapors for 24-h period. Drawing applied on the first surface of film layer as adhesion regions constitutes 0.1 to 20 g/sq.m and about 5 to 50% of the first surface of film. Maximum distance between adhesion regions in the direction essentially parallel to stretching direction is about 1 inch or less. Surface of nonwoven layer is joined by drawing-mediated adhesion to surface of film layer. Adhesion-reinforced film-like nonwoven layered material is used in backside sheet of absorbing article containing, along with backside sheet, also lining and absorption filler disposed between backside sheet and lining.
