FIELD: construction engineering; erection of external walls laid in large faced porous stone. SUBSTANCE: stone-work has large hollow porous stones, facing, and layers of mortar in horizontal joints of entire stone-work and in vertical joints of facing. The latter is made on elevation side of building in the form of ceramic plates whose height is equal to that of butt-end of large hollow porous stone; length of plates is a multiple of 1 or 1.25, or 1.5, or 1.75, and 2 widths of large hollow porous stone. The latter and facing plates are provided on abutting edges throughout entire height of stone or plate with half-dovetail shaped vertical slots on sides of these edges; dovetail- shaped slots provided in the center of stone edge and in facing plates are spaced at distance which is a multiple of 0.5 of large stone width. Vertical slots in facing plates and large stones and transversal vertical joints are filled with light dispersed-reinforced mortar throughout entire height of stone-work. Facing plates are separated from large stones by longitudinal vertical joints and are not filled with mortar between lock of mortar if steam tightness of mortar is less than that of large stone.
