FIELD: medicine, in particular, dentistry. SUBSTANCE: parallelometer has base, vertical pole, horizontal double-link arm with link retaining device and mechanism for moving working tool in vertical plane, and machine bench mounted on base. Retaining device is made in the form of screw-wedge type clamp composed of screw with handle and two wedges, slides cooperating with split bushings of arm link pins. Mechanism for moving working tool in vertical plane has rods arranged in casings and mounted in separators with balls, enclosed in split bushings equipped with adjusting screws. Such construction provides for precise positioning of end link of parallelometer with working tool in space and, as a result, precise measuring of jaw model and processing thereof (drilling and milling), as well as precise determining of average inclination of longitudinal pins of jaw model teeth. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and provision for improved quality of dental prosthesis. 4 dwg
