FIELD: machine engineering, namely working annular, mainly sealing surfaces of bodies of wedge shutters for repairing them in field mobile workshops. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of basing shutter body and fixing it in initial position on movable table plate that may be inclined while arranging spindle in zone of lower opening; inclining table plate around Y axis and moving it along X1 axis; aligning lower worked surface by means of measuring head rotating it around X2 axis; then successively mounting on spindle cutter, grinding, honing head or honing disc and lap; performing operations of turning, grinding, honing by means of honing heads and discs and also by means of laps; performing quality control after each operation; turning lower surface by means of rotating cutter head having two mounted mutually opposite and radially moving cutters; grinding lower surface by means of grinding heads at imparting rotation to axially driven abrasive wheels having complex motion of abrasive grains in the result of combining three rotation motions around three mutually parallel axes with non-multiple relation of their revolution numbers; realizing honing operation by means of honing heads having freely rotating abrasive wheels with complex motion of abrasive grains provided due to combination of three rotation motions around three mutually parallel axes at non- multiple relation of their revolution numbers; performing honing operation also by means of honing discs having stationary mounted abrasive members with complex motion of abrasive grains provided due combination of rotation motions around two mutually parallel axes at non-multiple relation of their revolution numbers and by means of laps; then rotating table plate around Y axis and moving it along X1 axis by predetermined values; further working upper surface due to performing operations similar to those of working lower surface. EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities due to working lower and upper surfaces during one operation of mounting body and performing quality control after each operation, possibility for changing cutting tools without varying position of spindle relative to body. 5 cl, 14 dwg
