FIELD: agriculture, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves countercurrent extraction of sewage sediments from municipal refining units with alkaline agent an aqueous solution. Extraction is carried out for two stages. At the first stage extraction is performed with solution containing potassium or sodium hydroxide and potassium or sodium pyrophosphate taken in the mole ratio = 4: (1-0.5) in total concentration 0.2-0.5 mole/l, at 40-50 C and in the ratio liquid to solid phase = (3-5): 1. At the second stage extraction is performed with 0.5-2.0% ammonium hydroxide solution in the mole ratio solid to liquid phase = (3-5): 1 where potassium or sodium hydroxide and pyrophosphate are added in the ratio = 4: (1-0.5) to concentration 0.2-0.5 mole/l. Then obtained solution is used for alkaline extraction at the first stage. Method provides to obtain the combined biologically active phytohormones-containing substance and trace elements that are necessary for plants. Invention can be used for production of substances stimulating plant growth.
