FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus 100 for feeding buttons to fastening places has button feeding channel providing button centering and channel width and height adjustment in accordance with sizes of buttons, button feeding conveyor with button feeding belt 10 adapted for arranging buttons in predetermined manner on fastening places of pieces of clothing. Apparatus is further equipped with two movable guiding plates 36, 38 defining button guiding channel and channel height adjusting unit 160 arranged above button guiding channel for displacement in vertical and horizontal directions relative to this channel in accordance with buttons sizes, with channel height being regulated. Channel width adjusting device is actuated in conjunction with two guiding plates 36, 38, with channel width being regulated in accordance with width of buttons. Centering device is actuated in conjunction with channel width adjusting device for centering each button at channel outlet end. Rotary feeding unit 30, 32 is arranged between channel outlet end and fastening place of piece of clothing and adapted for feeding centered buttons from channel outlet end to stitching place. Apparatus enables buttons to be arranged at required places of clothing when sizes of buttons are changed. Apparatus of such construction does not require replacement of feeding members in accordance with button size. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for reliable fastening of buttons. 6 cl, 6 dwg
