FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanism for converting movement of piston into rotation of piston machine shaft with possibility of adjustment of piston stroke. It can be used in power units of vehicles, mechanisms, pumps and compressors. Novelty is that mechanism converting reciprocating movement of piston with rotation around its axis in cylinder into rotation of shaft by means of inclined disk rotating in bearing is provided with rod with pin found inside inclined disk. This rod with pin has gear wheel coming into meshing with gear wheel of shaft. Hinge-joint is installed on bearings on inclined disk so that axis of hinge-joint passes along chord of circumference whose center lies on rod axis. With rod moving in guides, contact of rod pin with inclined disk creates torque which rotates rod together with inclined disk, and torque is transmitted from gear wheel to gear wheel of shaft. Piston stroke is adjusted by changing angle of inclination of bearing of inclined disk in mechanism housing relative to rod axis. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg
