FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: strip measures concentration of a substance under analysis in liquid sample placed on its surface. The sample is directed to several analysis zones spaced over the strip in known order. Reaction takes place between the substance under analysis and some reagent causing change in color. Every analysis zone has also reaction inhibitors causing change in color. Inhibitor concentration grows in the row of sequential analysis zones. The number of zones showing changes in color is interpreted as measure of concentration of substance under analysis, in this way. The indication strip is used for measuring glucose concentration in whole blood sample. The sample is supplied to the analysis zones along a path built by crushing selected parts of membrane so that analysis zones are continuous zones on the membrane. EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of the method; simplified and accelerated examination procedure. 25 cl, 7 dwg
