FIELD: radio detection and ranging, applicable for transmission of identification signals of the transmission object and messages from external information sources via an active radar to the user, it may be used in air traffic control systems, in guard systems of remote objects and in other spheres. SUBSTANCE: the known passive transceiver has series-connected antenna, detector and resolver, power supply, series-connected identification coder and modulator, whose outputs is connected to the antenna and detector input, the first output of the power supply is connected to the second input of the resolver, and the second output of the power supply is connected to the second input of the identification coder, use is made of a synchronizer, lines of transmission of synchronizing pulses to the external information sources and lines of transmission of messages from the external information sources. The first input of the synchronizer is connected to the output of the resolver, and its second input is connected to the second output of the power supply. The first group of the synchronizer outputs is connected to the first group of inputs of the identification coder, and the second group of its outputs is connected to the lines of transmission of synchronizing pulses to the external information sources. The lines of transmission of messages from the external information sources are connected to the output of the identification coder and to the modulator input. EFFECT: expanded functional abilities of the passive transceiver due to transmission via it of messages from the external information sources. 4 dwg
