FIELD: production of netted fabrics and articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing netted string by moving spindles in 8-shaped paths. Netting heads are adjoining one another to form closed contour around common movable netting center. Netted article is pulled in synchronism with netting process. According to the invention, at each stage of forming articles, length of string and/or joints of each subsequent row of meshes differs from length of string and/or joint of each previous row of meshes. Method may be used for manufacture of articles of closed geometric configuration, as well as for netting of cords and sheathings. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 11 cl, 25 dwg
