FIELD: engine manufacture; rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has cylindrical housing with circular projections on sides, two-cam rotor mounted in this housing and provided with rings secured at its ends; outer diameter of these rings exceeds diameter of inner cylindrical surface of housing. Rotor is made with profile formed by arcs of circle and straight line segments; rotor rings have cylindrical outer surface. Each stop has L-shaped transversal slot directed towards rotor where hinge seal made in form of L-shaped plate-holder is mounted. Flexible circular plates secured at ends of circular projections of housing are pressed to outer rounded-off sides of rotor rings. Bow-shaped grooves are provided on sides of stops; these grooves are used for receiving flat seals of respective shape which are pressed to rotor rings. T-shaped seals are received by grooves made in peaks of rotor cams; side sections have bevels and slots for passages of working medium under seal.
