METHOD FOR ELONGATION OF UNREELED FUR SKIN DURING CUTTING THEREOF Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining on fur skin pattern the portion of fur skin to be unreeled, lines of initial and terminating cuts, zones and number of unreeled strips, fur skin average and specific elongation values, fur skin width after elongation process, but before determining the unreeled portion. Method involves graphic calculation of actual width of fur skin after elongation of buttock and neck parts; plotting portions equal to average width of elongated skin along the middle line of fur skin pattern and lower part and stature part under opening of article and dividing by the number equal to the number of obtained portions. Then the portion for unreeling is graphically determined, as well as lines of the initial and terminating cuts by plotting portions from spine line toward side line in upper horizontal plane and from side line to spine line in lower horizontal plane. Length of mentioned portions is equal to half the actual width of fur skin neck and buttock parts, respectively, after elongation. Lines of initial and terminating cuts are drawn through the points at an angle equal to half the cutting angle and number of unreeling zones are determined as multiple the number of unreel strips, which are uniformly distributed among mentioned zones. Also, average elongation values along lines of initial and terminating cuts are determined and difference between these values and average elongation value is determined and distributed among unreeling zones.
