FIELD: commercial fishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has simple knot including loop formed by bypassing leading end around root part so as to form half-knot. Additional loop is formed from loop root portion by turning it through 180 deg. Additional loop is located on half-knot. Working part is formed from remaining portion of loop by passing it through half-knot and additional loop. Knots of such construction may be used in fishing equipment, sailing, hydrobiotechnical constructions (flexible structures of submarine plantations), mountain climber equipment and in other fields using synthetic ropes. Reliable knot connection is provided by reduced pressure between ropes due to increased radius of rope coiling in knot. EFFECT: wider range of usage, increased strength and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
