FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: stack maker-carrier has wheeled platform, compression chamber mounted on platform and equipped with discharge frame and hitching mechanism. Hydraulic cylinder mounted on platform is connected to toothed rack and rake-type grid. Driver lowers rake-type grid to non-operating position by tooted rack moved by hydraulic cylinder. Stack maker is advanced along stack line to engage stacks and deliver them onto rake-type grid. Upon complete filling of rake-type grid with stacks, driver returns toothed rack to initial position by means of hydraulic cylinder. Toothed rack raises rake-type grid with stacks and charges stacks into compression chamber. During unloading of compression chamber, toothed rack is joined with discharge frame through hitching mechanism. Straw is ejected from compression chamber by moving toothed rack with discharge frame. EFFECT: increased efficiency by combined loading, transportation and ejecting operations in single cycle. 4 dwg
