FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique which may be employed in hay stocking machines.
SUBSTANCE: baler has chassis, feeler baler, forming chamber, compression chamber, cut-off mechanism with hydraulic cylinder and needles, and hydraulic cylinder for discharging of compressed bale. Forming chamber is made in the form of hollow cylinder fixed on two corner members and cut into two equal sections. Upper section of cylinder is connected through pivot joint and lower section is connected by means of latches. During compression process, end parts of forming chamber are closed with covers. Rake-type piston is positioned for reciprocation within compression chamber and provided with pivot joint on its mid portion. Cut-off mechanism with needles is positioned between compression chamber and forming chamber for preventing discharge of plant mass from forming chamber. Upon filling up of forming chamber, vehicle approaches baler for receiving of ejected compressed bale.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced labor intensity.
