FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing sleepers from wooden fibers, wires, rubber and viscose. Composition mixture contains, wt%: wooden fibers 50-70; wire 30-10; rubber 5-10; viscose 5-10. Sleeper is pressed under pressure of at least 75 MPa and held for at least 1 min at temperature of 75-100 C, with air admission being limited.
