FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly manufacture of roofing and hydroinsulating materials used for hydroinsulation of building structures and sealing of seams in automobile manufacture. SUBSTANCE: well known bitumen containing composition comprises bitumen with polymeric additive and filler. Polymeric additive is thiol-containing ether, thiocol and composition further comprises cross-linking agent oxidizer, e.g. oxides and dioxides of metals (manganese dioxide, zinc oxide, sodium bithphthalate and stearic acid. Composition commen, 46.14-85.0; polymer additive, 4744-33.33; hardener, 0.40- 2.48; plasticizer, 0.322-1.91; and filler 4.53-31.67. Hardening paste also comprises vulcanizing accelerator, namely diphenyl quanidine. Said composition is highly elastic material which is resistant to thermooxidative ageing, has higher softening temperature of composition is destruction resistant system at low temperatures.
