FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: to aqueous paper composition containing fibrous material and inorganic filler is added water-soluble polysilicate microgel and water-soluble polymer, after which product is formed and dried. According to invention, microgel is characterized by particle size in the range of 20 to 250 nm and surface area above 1000 sq. m/g, whereas polysilicate microgel is preferably polyaluminosilicate, especially such, in which alumina-to-silica molar ratio varies between 1:10 and 1: 1500. EFFECT: improved characteristics of paper concerning retention of filler and dehydration. 21 cl, 5 dwg, 4 tbl, 3 ex
