FIELD: blasting operations for breaking of ice cover. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in spaced placement of explosive charges under the ice and their alternate blasting at a time interval equal to the time of passage of the crest of the bending-gravitational wave from the point of blasting of the previous charge to the point of location of the next blasting charge. Before blasting of the charges air is pumped in under the ice cover. The thickness of the air space should not exceed the amplitude of the bending- gravitational wave. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of ice breaking by a pin-point blast. 1 dwg
