FIELD: state monetary circulation. SUBSTANCE: coin has at least one portion whose body adjoining to outer rib has thickness changing smoothly or in stepped manner along arc of outer circle or outer contour of coin so that at least one normal section of coin corresponds to any point on arc of outer circle or outer contour of coin. Thickness in this section of portion of coin body adjoining to outer rib is constant. Legend of coin includes designations of, accordingly, thickness and direction of said sections of coin body adjoining to outer rib in points with designated thickness, or of thickness and borders of steps defined by part of body adjoining to outer rib of coin and having constant thickness. Such structure increases emission gain for state by imparting novel consumer qualities to coin specific to small-sized manual measuring instrument.
