COIN Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2180182 C1

FIELD: circulation of currency. SUBSTANCE: coin or coin parts are manufactured from ferromagnetic substance, which is magnetized so that pole connecting line is extending in parallel or coincides with one of straight lines lying in plane extending parallel to coin sides and intersecting coin center of gravity. Pattern of circular degree scale with pointed out directions and designations of main rhumb lines is applied to coin face side so that center of circular degree scale is aligned with coin center of gravity, south and north rhumb lines coincide with like poles of ferromagnetic substance. Circular centering slot is formed on reverse side of coin to provide for putting coin on vertical needle-type support for free rotation of coin about axis of vertical support tangential with respect to inner surface of circular centering slot at point, which is aligned with coin center of gravity. Coin is used for in-cash circulation of money. Emission gain is provided by imparting novel consumer qualities, that is, compass, to coin. EFFECT: simplified structure and manufacture method and improved consumer qualities. 2 dwg
