FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves building jejunal loop after performing gastrectomy or esophagectomy. The resected esophagus is attached to abducting intestinal loop with end-to-side anastomosis. Anastomosis zone is marked with small intestine loop segments by suturing them to each other. The adducting loop part is transected and attached to the abducting one 25-30 cm remote from esophagojejunal anastomosis zone. The abducting intestine is tightly sutured. The esophagointestinal anastomosis is built at a distance equal to twice esophagus diameter from the tightly sutured abducting intestine loop portion. EFFECT: reduced risk of esophagointestinal anastomosis insufficiency. 7 dwg
