FIELD: maintenance of air humidity in spacecraft pressurized inhabited compartments at required level, mainly orbital stations; submarines and enclosed space at high temperature and air humidity. SUBSTANCE: proposed dehumidifier has casing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, unit for removal of moisture and thermoelectric cooler located in cavity between base of condenser and shell of liquid heat exchanger; this cooler is made from thermoelectric modules mounted at spaced relation and filled with nonwettable electric and heat insulating material; laid in between each thermal module and condenser base is gasket made from heat-conducting material at thermal contact on either side. EFFECT: enhanced cooling coefficient (ratio of generated cold to required power) due to optimal thickness of gasket. 2 dwg
