FIELD: keeping air humidity within limits of comfort conditions in habitable hermetic compartments of spacecraft, mainly orbital stations; submarines; enclosed spaces at high temperature and humidity. SUBSTANCE: air dehumidifier has casing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, device for removal of moisture and technological cavity formed by base of condenser and shell of liquid-type heat exchanger where thermoelectric cooler is located; thermoelectric cooler is made on base of thermoelectric modules interconnected together and mounted at spaced relation; free volume of technological cavity is filled with nonwettable electric and heat insulator, thus reducing flow of heat from "hot" surface to which "hot" surfaces of thermoelectric modules are soldered to "cold" surface. EFFECT: increased refrigerating coefficient (relation of produced cold to consumed electric power); enhanced operational efficiency. 2 dwg
