FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing argon endolaser retina coagulation around the encapsulated splitter in posterior tunics of the eyeball. Foreign body capsule is destroyed by means of argon endolaser coagulation. Splitter-revealing zone is mechanically enlarged by moving endolaser end piece. The endolaser capsule coagulation is repeated when needed. The naked foreign body is removed with endolaser end piece combined with U-shaped magnetic end piece. EFFECT: accelerated surgical intervention process; reduced risk to loose the foreign body; reduced risk of hemorrhages and retina detachment.
