FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing conductor member into the retrobulbary space to the prescribed depth in invasive way. The conductor member is metal tube having conically sharpened edges, division marks on the external surface scaled at 0.5 cm and needle traveling inside of it. After removing the needle, catheter is introduced along the conductor member instead of the needle. The conductor member is manufactured from flexible polymer material with internal diameter being equal to 0.6- 0.8 mm. The catheter is fixed after removing the conductor member. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
