FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing fractured bone fragments. Incision is carried out in subtrochanteric area. Wires are introduced into the cortical layer of the upper one third of the femur 3-5 cm below the greater trochanter at an angle of 35-45 deg to the external surface of the femur. Excessive tail portion of wires are bitten off, bent and brought close to the bone. After being introduced, wire ends are bent upward in particular case and closely arranged on the bone surface in rotating wires by 180 deg. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in avoiding wire migration. 2 cl, 4 dwg
