FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle crawler tracks designed for moving along asphalt-coated roads. SUBSTANCE: skeleton plate is provided with inner L- shaped catch at one end face in zones of longitudinal end faces and with eye with central hole at other end face. Mating projection for above-indicated projection is made on inner side surface of track link. Mating slot for eye and perpendicular through central hole are made on outer side of end face surface. Skeleton plate is limited by closed bead from side surfaces. Skeleton plate rests of seat through flexible spaced damping plates. Skeleton plate is locked from falling out by projection of L-shaped catch and by fixing pin passing through holes of eye and link. Pin is made with thrust taper head at base, central taper recess in end face from side of taper head and reverse split ring arranged in shank zone. Method of vehicle track link assembly comes to the following: L-shaped catch mounted on link projection, then cramp is fitted so that its one surface should rest on flexible surface of cover plate in zone of eye and other support surface should rest on link race. Then, using metal plate of cover skeleton cover plate as lever, projecting parts of flexible plates are pressed to register axis of eye hole with axis of hole in link. Then shank of pin is fitted into link hole and is driven into working position using taper recess from side of end head. EFFECT: improved reliability of fastening of detachable asphalt running cover plates, reduced noise and vibration in service. 4 cl, 8 dwg
