FIELD: transport machine building, applicable, for example, for production of an armored chassis of an engineer caterpillar truck on the basis of a tank that can be used both for military purposes and in actions in emergency situations in the conditions of radioactive contamination of terrain.
SUBSTANCE: the first and last pairs of the suspensions of the running gear of the caterpillar truck chassis are provided with hydraulic shock absorbers, and minimum the second and the last but one pairs of suspensions are provided with devices for disengagement of the torsion suspensions controlled from the inhabited compartment, made for fixing of the track wheels against displacement towards the chassis body in any position of them. The devices for disengagement of the torsion suspensions in the engaged position are used as pneumatic shock absorbers. The chassis is made on the basis of the chassis of a native tank with a small-sized engine-transmission compartment of a volume of less than 6,9 cu.m, for example, tank T-80. Described is the design of the device for disengagement of the torsion suspension, coupling of the device for disengagement of the torsion suspension to the chassis control system with provision of fixing of the track wheels against displacement towards the chassis body at the moment of starting and braking of the chassis, offered is the design of the tracks of the caterpillar band. Provision is made for installation in electric transmission.
EFFECT: enhanced technical and operating characteristics of the chassis due to improvement of the running gear and engine-transmission compartment.
