FIELD: medicine, applicable for prophylaxis and treatment of postoperative pyo-septic complications of cardiosurgical patients. SUBSTANCE: ultra-violet radiation of the flowing blood by wavelengths of 580 nm and 360 to 450 nm lasting 10 to 20 min each is effected intraoperatively during perfusion via a light-emitting diod of a fiber-quartz radiation source.
