FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves draining and emptying right compartments of the heart through interatrial septum from the left auricle side. The interatrial septum is dissected in the region of oval fossa on the background of inferior vena cava occlusion in making access from the left auricle side. Blood is sucked from the right cardiac compartments through the formed defect as it accumulates, with its following reinfusing. The result is quick rotation of the mitral valve in the operation field taking place with its atrial side upwards. Before suturing the left auricle, the interatrial septum is sealed, providing the right compartments of the heart to be filled with blood. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of operation.
