FIELD: sportive equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is made in the form of endless track. Track relief changing device is made in the form of barrier simulator. Cycle mounting device for mounting cycle on track has vertical members arranged for movement along track. Loading device has two platforms and supporting cycle wheel rolls mounted on platforms and kinematically connected one with the other. One of platforms is mounted on supports made in the form of pneumatic cylinders, each electrically connected with control panel. Other platform has rolls for cycle wheels, with at least one of rolls having portions of variable section defined by shaped profile, which is provided by making on roll surface of annular slots, ridge-type protrusions, or protrusions of different height. Portions with surfaces of different resiliency are provided on surface of at least one roll having variable section. Portions of variable section or portions with resilient surfaces may be provided on one or two drive rolls, on two or three drive and driven rolls. Barrier simulator may be adapted for movement on cart whose drive is connected to control panel. Apparatus may be additionally equipped with device simulating cycle movable in front of main cycle. Cycle simulating device is made in the form of wheel, which may be advanced onto wheel running track. Apparatus is used for exercising cyclists before downhill or cross-country competitions.
