FIELD: methods for processing slags at melting aluminum and its alloys, namely manufacture of building materials, particularly processes of making blowing agents for cellular concrete. SUBSTANCE: method is designed for processing salt slags of aluminum production after additional mechanically extraction of aluminum to blowing agent for cellular concrete. Method comprises steps of washing slag in order to remove water soluble salts, drying slag at temperature no more than 30 C and disintegrating it. It allows to obtain low-cost dry blowing agent with excellent blowing capability and to enhance ecological conditions in industrial regions.
