SUBSTANCE: device designed for metering mass flowrate of air admitted to internal-combustion engine has prismatic deflector installed upstream of metering member protruding into pipeline in section contracting in direction of flow. Deflector face has depression in the form of trough. Deflector is mounted vertically and has port on its bottom end communicating with depression.
