FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impeller pump with side channel, provided with cover at suction side and used for delivery of fuel in vehicles. Proposed pump has cover 10 installed at suction side. Cover 10 is good for use in double-flow impeller pump with side channel. Cover 10 is provided with side channel 11 passing radially around center of rotation of blades and first hole 13 for intake channel changing into side channel 11 whose width (B_SK) is constant within the limits of section passing circumferentially. Width (B_SK), of side channel 11 is constant in direction from its beginning 12 on upper side 8 of cover 10, starting from values of first angle (ϕ) from 0^o, preferably near 5^o from 20^o, read from base line (L_B), passing through axis 14 of blade rotation and through point 1 of contact at beginning 12 of said side channel.
