DEVELOPMENT OF SYSTEM CONTROLLING TELEVISION OR RADIO BROADCASTING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to secure technical result in the form of development of control programs with fast and effective detection of failures ( malfunctions ). Process of development and testing of control program for system capable of execution of applications includes following steps: development of control program at working station; transmission of control program into certain emulating unit which emulates unit capable of execution of applications, execution of control program in emulating unit and generation of test signals by control program. Process is intended for development and testing of control program for receiver/decoder used in digital TV and radio broadcasting. MPEG signal of digital TV or radio broadcasting is sent into emulating unit and while control program is executed in emulating unit working station generates control signals and transmits them into this emulating unit. At least some of test signals are generated in response to control signals and test signals are returned by emulating unit into working station.
