FIELD: power engineering; heat and power cogeneration. SUBSTANCE: power plant has boiler unit, air-turbine engine, heat pump, water pump, and gas-air heat exchanger mounted in boiler unit. Outlet contraction of engine air turbine communicates through pipeline with boiler-unit ash pit; amount of heat absorbed by gas-air heat exchanger equals that coming together with hot air to boiler-unit ash pit. Boiler-unit gas vent communicates with diffuser of heat-pump gas compressor. Air compressor of air-turbine engine, air turbine of the latter, heat-pump air compressor, heat-pump gas turbine, electric generator, and water pump are all mounted on common shaft. Carbon monoxides escaping from heat-pump gas turbine are discharged into atmosphere at subzero temperature = 261 K. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of power plant. 1 dwg
